Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the weekly email for week 10. Only a few more weeks to go until the end of semester, but we're starting to plan out next semester and have still got lots of fun stuff going on, even now the weather is getting a little chilly.
I personally like to keep walm but piling beavers in to my bed  

Calling all Girls! - WWR this weekend!

A space has become available for a female paddler (sorry guys!) to come along this weekend to BUCS Wild water racing! A competition not to be missed, suitable for all abilities- only basic paddling skills required. Leaving after 5pm this Friday (with a warm night's sleep courtesy of Captain Sarah) and returning Sunday evening. Saturday night camping and meal provided, and can borrow roll mat/sleeping bag/tent space if required! All for a super subsidised £15Email or FB Stratts (ejs21) for infor or to sign up.

Beginner Coaching  - This Sunday

Andre will be taking a few people for some awesome, chilled, but above all relaxed coaching session on very easy water. There are currently only 3 spaces as a Hugo can only fit so many (Yes, the car is named Hugo, yet not after Mister Fairclough) 
This week I perfected by river troll skills
Venue 1 is being stripped to the ground after 41 years for the redevelopment. To send it out on a bang the last sinners of the year is onWednesday 26th come along to dance, prance and drink to say a big farewell. If that alone is not enough to tempt you the Vengaboys will be banging out tunes all night. Contact Annie ASAP to reserve a ticket (£12) for the biggest sinners ever. 
It's going to be crazy, someone might even get naked
Club Days in - 29th Novemeber
If any of you are as yet unaware of the best day in the canoe club calender, have a look at the facebook events for all the info to help you make the right decision! Lads and Ladies...

Christmas Meal - 4th December
Wish your fellow canoe comrades a very merry Christmas and goodbye for the break at the Christmas meal. Food, drink and jollymentwill be available at the Rule on 4th December. Speak to Sam to book a place or find out more.

The Trip of What you Want -  6th/7th Dec
Let us know what you'd like to do! Ask for a absolute beginner/improver/
intermediate/death Gnar on Grade 6+. We'll likely do two different levels on the two days but if everyone wants the same thing we can do a two day trip! Email Andre at ap69 to register your interest, let him know what sort of level and which days you'd be keen for! (or both!)

Xmas and Winter Trip? : 19th-21st Dec, 20th-23rd Jan

People are keen for Xmas trip but if you are still keen, email Gina. I know it seems a long way off, but come the end of January, a whole month since you last kayaked, it's highly likely, you'll be really keen for a 2 day trip. Email Gina (gkw2) if your keen or even slightly keen.

Naked Calendar
If you want to buy a naked calendar please email Kathryn ASAP (kerh). Black and white calendars are £5 and colour ones are £10 (they look really cool)! Remember all the money raised will go to Nepal School Trust.
