Morning Everyone!

Here's the week's news! Lots of stuff to get involved with as well as the Surf Session this afternoon and the Pool Session tomorrow!

Freshers Trip! - 15/16th October
There are still some spaces going for the greatest trip of the year. No experience, skill or equipment required, just keenness and a desire to get wet!  Beginners please contact Jamie (jd523) and leaders please contact James (jm2252). Woop woop!

Three Legged Pub Crawl - Wednesday 12th October
Two legs not enough? Duct tape, drinking games, and dancing, sound like fun? Get to the Rule next Wednesday at 8pm for the most fun you can have out of a kayak. If you need to know more ask me (jm2252) - James

New Canoe clothing for sale
We have a limited selection of Canoe club sportswear left over from the recent Kukri order which is available on a first-come-first-served basis:

Boardshorts - L x 3  -  £16.80
Hoodie - XS x 1, S x 2  -  £24.40
T-shirt - XS x 3, S x 3  -  £11.40

It's all cheap, it's all awesome and it's all going spare, so drop Jamie (jd523) an email to bag yours first!

If you were an AU driver last year you need to have your licence re-registered at the AU asap, especially if you're coming on the Leaders' Trip! Please take both parts of your licence to the AU office and they will get you back on the insurance. Importantly, please tell Jamie (jd523) when you've done this so he knows who is allowed to drive!

BASE Swimming
BASE swimming is a fanastic way to get involved with the community here in St Andrews, we need male volunteers to help teach and guide blind and visually impaired members of the public with swimming, for hour a week at East Sands Leisure Centre,  time tbc, contact Sarah (sed32) if interested.

WANTED: Future Polo Superstars!
For those of you who have never played Canoe Polo, or have no idea what it is (think water polo but in boats), we have some brilliant opportunities for you to learn to love the sport. For those who love it already we have three teams this year, so there are even more opportunities for you to play! Please email km732 or find her at the pool/pub. No previous experience necessary, we'll show you the basics! See the Canoe Club Calendar for dates.

Free Beginners' Coaching Sessions!

Sean and Emily are working towards their level 2 coaching assessment and are holding 30 minute coaching sessions for anyone keen during the normal surf session. Please reply to sld42 if you are interested in free and fun coaching.
