Hope your revision is going well. Just a short weekly email this week.
If you haven't already done so, tell James (jm2252) which dates you can make for preseason this year. Preseason is going to be even more epic than last year, guaranteed. It is planned to run from 1st Sept to 9th Sept (9th being the first Sunday of fresher’s week). Provisionally planned activities include a fitness day, beginner coaching, safety training, polo training, slalom practice, flat water open boating, interspersed with awesome paddling trips.
29th May - Regional Coaching Forum
If you are a coach, with or without qualifications, and are considering getting qualified this should be interesting and useful. It will give you a chance to see how the SCA works and what they can offer you as a coach. If there are enough people interested we can put some transport on. Email James at jm2252 if keen.
24th May - An epically fun day. (Almost as fun as any party that Rory's at.)
Keen the 24th free for a bonfire and awards ceremony organised by the one and only Tim Cain. He requests that if anyone sees any spare pallets or things to burn that they take them so we "can have a big ass bonfire".
Did you know the number 1 way to relax during exams is to keep calm and carry on kayaking? Pool sessions and surf sessions will still be running over exam period - Your chance to keep up the practice before the Summer Trip and Les Alps as well as take your mind off revision!
This weeks cat (that looks like Hitler) photo sent in by Patrick Jenner of St Andrews, Fife.
A giraffe's footprint is 12 inches long and 9 inches wide. That fact just changed your life.
Now get back to revision/celebrating finishing your degree. <3 (I bet y'all thought there was going to be an I<3LM there, but there wasn't. I fooled you. Teehee.)
