Morning all! If I'm honest, I've had better mornings but I will soldier on. This morning was a strange moment in my life, with many people asleep in various places in the Castle. Tim woke up wearing 5 t-shirts, a fleece, a beater and a towel stuffed down his back.

TODAY 4:30pm - Beach Clean
Times have changed for the beach clean due to tide times. Please turn up at East Sands slipway at 4.30 where we will split up and clean East and Castle Sands. Wrap up warm and if you have any spare gardening gloves bring them along!

Saturday 16th March - The Dolly Mixture Trip
The is just ONE space left on the trip this Saturday! They'll be a very mixed group so whether you're a fondant cube or a sugar-coated gem, the aim will be to have as much fun as possible! We'll cater for everyone's ability, probably heading to the Lower/Upper Tummels or Leny/Teith. They'll also be a meal afterwards and guaranteed Dolly Mixtures! Sound sweet? Saturday 13th - Sunday 14th April - Beginners' Training
Calling all beginners! Fancy learning some new skills whilst being coached by an actual coach and paddling somewhere new and exciting? On the 13th/14th of April there is a beginners training course heading up north with tip top coach Ian Vosser. Two opportunities for summer work:
Kayak instructors in the Venice Region of Italy
From 30th June - 7th September (10 weeks). Main duties involve running EPP Level 1 and Level 2 courses for the guests of the Bibione Mare holiday resorts at the Camping Capalonga, Lido, Tridente and Porto Baseleghe. Main requirements - Level 1 or Level 2 Kayak instructor (or similar), good in dealing with people, and good communication skills (in particular non verbal). Accommodation provided in a fully equipped flat in Bibione Pineda shared with other trainers. A meal allowance will be included in the weekly rate, and pay and conditions are TBA. East Neuk Outdoors Instructors
East Neuk Outdoors are looking for one or two seasonal instructors to help out at the outdoor activity centre in Cellardyke from April to September. Over the past 30 years they have usually employed at least one St Andrews University Canoe Club student and would like to maintain this connection. Crispin, the proprietor, can be in St Andrews to meet prospective instructors or arrange to meet them at the centre in Cellardyke. He is in St Andrews most Monday and Friday afternoons.
