Hi everybody,

Hope you've all had a great Reading Week and are ready for the next few weeks of paddling fun!

Beginner Trip on Saturday
This Saturday, we are off beginner tripping to the Ericht. This was a huge success last year, offering a slight reprieve form the drunken debauchery of Raisin Weekend. Priority is really to those who have not been on a river before, but if there's space, all are welcome. Anyone wanting to get on this make sure you come and find me tomorrow night in the pub, or if you can't make that send me an email (jm2252) and I will try to squeeze you in. There is also a possibility for some of the leaders to bash down the Blackwater after, as it is literally 10 minutes away.

Intermediate Trip on Sunday
We have transport so anyone that wants to paddle get in touch with me by email (jm2252), or I will be at the pub...

Olaf Obsommer Film Night approaches!
As you guys know the amazing kayaker and film maker; Olaf Obsommer is coming to town next Thursday.  Tickets will be on sale in the pub tomorrow at the reasonable rate of £6.  This will be an amazing evening with fun and frolics to follow so bring your pennies! Publicise it to all your adventurey friends.  It is aimed at kayakers, film makers and adventurers so get them to join theFacebook event and bring them along. Tickets are also available online - get them HERE!

Adrenaline Ball
Hope everyone is feeling amped and excited for the ball on Friday! Just a reminder that those with Dinner and Dance tickets should arrive at the The Scores at 7pm for a 7.30 meal; and those with just Dance should arrive at 9.30pm. The hotel shuts its doors at 10 so be sure to arrive before then! There is likely to be an after party at the Castle (the end of Market Street) so if you'd like to leave any alcohol drop it off in the next day or two.

Christmas Dinner
A date to save for your diaries - Wednesday 8th December at The Rule at 7.30. They are putting on a band for us so it's sure to be another great night. Any questions? Contact Issy (ijns).

General Conditioning
Great to see so many people at general on Monday, we can do even better for Thursday, be at the Sports Centre for 5pm. Even if you haven't already been then you can still start now. See ya there!

Free Yoga - Tuesdays 1-2
We are very lucky that the AU has decided to let us keep the FREE Focus club yoga sessions, provided that we have a decent attendance. These sessions are for all abilities, and should improve your, flexibility, balance and core strength. They are also amazingly relaxing! All you need is your matric card with the focus sticker on it. If you want a sticker email Sarah (sed32), and then you will be able to collect it from the AU on the day.

Lots of info this week which means lots of stuff for you guys to get involved with!
