Freshers' Trip! - 15th & 16th Oct

Attention all Freshers! At the end of week 3 we will be running our world famous Freshers' Trip of Magnificence! This is essentially an introductory weekend for all of you to get your first taste of river paddling on a nice easy river (the Tay). Last year was epic with around 40 people on the trip and a lot of fun was had. This year will be run on similar lines with a two day paddle down the Tay from Loch Tay to Grandtully, heading back to the SCA campsite on the Saturday night for some partying.  Jamie and James will be taking names and a £5 deposit after 9pm in the Rule on Monday. Any questions, ask Jamie (jd523), or James (jm2252).

In addition to the trip we will be visiting the Paddle 2011 show, which is a great opportunity to pick up any kit you might want/need, followed by an epic Ceilidh on Saturday. There are also demonstrations, workshops and talks if that's more your thing.
