Hope your inter-semesters have been going swimmingly, looking forward to seeing you all again! Here's what we've got planned...
There are sessions on in the pool as per usual. There'll be food in the pub starting on Monday!
AU driving tests
The first AU driving tests of the year will be taking place on the 8th Feb. Please email Sam (firstname.lastname@example.org) or go into the AU office (at the sports centre) to sign up. Please do if you can drive, don't worry the test is fairly informal, and it's always great for the club to have lots of drivers.

TREES! did you know?: Sharks have existed, in approximately their current form, since before there was any complex life on land.
The tree planting date for the Kingsbarns kids is 20th February 1.30-2.30pm. Please let me know if you want to come along on this day, and about the others dates if you haven't already (14th and 15th). Get your spades ready, 2 weeks to go! - Sarah (sed32)
It may be over a month away but registration is open NOW and spaces are limited this year. NSR is (possibly) the biggest student kayaking event in the entire universe! Everyone goes, from white water virgins to GB freestyle champions. Come along and try surfing, marvel at the Topo-Duo races, win some prizes, demo all the boats and party the night away! Last year's rodeo film is here, try spotting some STAUCC folk swimming! Email km732 to be entered!
There are just TWO unclaimed naked calendars left, so close to selling them all and making lots of money for Scottish Mountain Rescue, if you can take one of the last two off my hands please let know asap. Byron and Emma please let me know when you want to collect yours! - Sarah
Sea Kayak 4 Star - Sea Kayaking isn't rubbish - err yes it is :P
Sean and Jonny are going on a 4* Sea kayak training course during the spring break (March 26th-28th) in Oban. If anyone else is interested in learning more about sea kayaking, coastal navigation and tidal planning email Jonny (JH546). You don't need any pre prerequisites to attend the training and can borrow all the kit you need from the course provider. It should be a great course!
