Morning everyone,

Hope everyone enjoyed the tasty treats on Monday at the pub and well done to Jean and Hannah Meikle our new committee members! - and a big thank you to Izzie and Amy for the work that they have put in over the last year!

Nakedness required - Boatshed today at 2pm!
Come along to the Boat Shed at 2pm for a big Boat Shed related naked photo for the Calendar! We would like as many people as possible for this, so even if you don't fancy the Surf Session today come down for 10 minutes or so to help make this Calendar awesome! Any questions to sed32.

Strength and Conditioning - Tomorrow morning 7.30am in the Gym!
Guys - Beast weights and get ripped for White Water Racing, and, more importantly, the Naked Calendar and Sinners' Sport.
Girls- Amy and Camille are going for some gentle toning and to get some more muscles for White Water Racing (or just in general life), come along and join, it won't be scary!
(You will need at least Sports Centre Club Membership (£30) to get in free, or you can pay per session (£3))

Adrenaline Ball! - 29th of November
This is the first of our two huge balls! It is going to be held at the Scores Hotel, on Tues 29th Nov (the day before St Andrews day) and promises to a fantastic night. James (jm2252) will be selling tickets at the Rule after the pool starting tomorrow night. It will be £30 for dinner (including wine on the table) and £15 for the dance only. Dance starts at 9 for a couple of hours of ceilidh followed by a dj set by one of Rave soc's finest!
If you would like a ticket find James (jm2252) at the pub, ideally with a cheque made out to 'Calum Durrand' but cash will also be fine. Get in quick as tickets (especially dinner) are limited!

Edinburgh polo and party - This Friday
Want to start reading week with a bang? We're heading to Edinburgh this Friday night for a few polo friendlies followed by a night out in the capital! Transport there and back provided. Leaving around 6pm. Please email km732 if you're keen and let me know if you are an AU driver.

Grandtully Session - 16th November!
On Wednesday 16th November we are running an afternoon session to Grandtully to practice river skills. We will be leaving at 1ish from the boatshed, with a variety of boats and head up to paddle, play, surf, swim, rescue, roll - basically whatever you want to practice. Should be back for hall dinner! Open to anyone who has been on a river before. If you are keen contact Amy (ak632).

Subsidised Coaching
If you have a course that you are really keen to do, which the club is not providing, please get Amy (ak632) to confirm (before you book it) whether or not the club will be able to subsidise it or not!
Jon

Receipts On average, 100 people choke to death on ball-point pens every year. Think before you chew.
If you have receipts for trips and aren't going to be able to get them to me over reading week then please email me the details of them so I can price the trips. Thanks! Jon (jrh8)

Pool Sessions on during Reading Week!
Over reading week pool sessions on Monday and Thursday (7.45pm and 8.45pm), as well as the Surf Session on Wednesday (2pm) will still be on, so if you're bored of reading do come along!

Lastly, but in no way leastly, a message from Chrissy D about last week's record-breaking bakesale;

'Sally and I would like to thank all of you at STAUCC, on behalf of the kids in Pragatinagar and Devchuli schools for your wonderful efforts... we truly appreciate you working for benefit of Nepal Schools Trust. That is a fantastic total for a baking sale. Well done to all the bakers!!' Chris Dickinson

Over and out,

Camille
