A message from our Treasurer
The prices of recent trips are now on the club forum here (scroll to the bottom of the page) if you owe for anything then if you could get the money to me ASAP then that would be great. I will be in the pub on Mondays and Thursdays and in the library from 2 til 5 on Thursday afternoon. Also, Chocolate will be given to the first twenty people to settle their debts! Jon
Summer Trip Update
We will be leaving sometime early evening on Thursday 26th May and returning late on Sunday 29th. We will be going to the River Tweed, paddling approx 60 miles from Peebles to Berwick, mainly in open boats but there will be a couple of kayaks and some topo duo action. Although transport logistics during the trip are not finalised I feel it is worth mentioning that we may not have cars with us along route.
I need to confirm numbers and names pretty soon so below is a 'definite' list and a 'maybe list' - if you wish to be transferred from maybe to definite please email sed32 asap. Similarly if you now cannot come please let sed32 know. If you are not on either list and want to come I will have a first come, first serve reserve list. If even after this there are still spaces I will advertise that.
We're lining up an absolutely awesome pre-season for next year, including a selection of Level 5 coaches, polo, skills and leadership training and more paddling than you can shake a stick at. The week will be from the 11th to the 18th September but before we finalise things with the AU we need a rough idea of numbers. SO, if you're happy paddling grade 3 or above then please drop Jamie (jd523) an email to indicate interest...
