Happy Wednesday everyone,

I hope you're all enjoying the beautiful sunshine!

Sports fayre - Sat 30th
There's tons of stuff going on and food being served from 1 till 5.30, come along, to the Sports' Centre, with your academic family for sporting fun!

1st/2nd May Sea/Surf
As we have the 2 days free, and it seems like there might be some decent swell, it seems a shame to waste it. If enough people want it, we can open the shed for a surf session on Sunday afternoon/evening. On Monday we could do some more surfing, or go for a sea paddle, email me, James (jm2252), with what you want and then watch our facebook for the outcome. Have a great May Dip!

End of Year Bonfire Fri 6th May
The End of Year/Pre-exam bonfire will be held on 6th May on East Sands. We will try to light the fire at about 7pm. You are welcome to stay as long as you want as we will hopefully have enough wood to keep it going all night. BYOB, marshmallows for toasting etc.
We will also be presenting the StAUCC 20010/11 awards, ranging from things like 'best rescue' to 'hydrophobic social member'. This will be probably be after 8. All in all, a fun night and great way to let off steam before settling into revision.

11-18th September Pre-Season
We're beginning to plan Pre-Season, which is the week before Freshers' week where the AU funds us to do lots and lots of kayaking, always a great way to get back into the year and warm up for Freshers'. If you're want more info chat to the committee in the pub and email Jamie (jd523).

AU stash
As the AU is changing sponsors to Kuriki next year, all of the Orion clothing that is left over will be sold at massively discounted prices...

Club photos Sarah
Sarah's still in possession of lots of your club photos, if you'd like to pick yours up or buy one they're at her house, email her (sed32).
